Are you the computer administrator? What are you transfering to? Is it another computer? can you save it to a jump drive or USB to USB? if its another computer, you can connect usb to usb.
If it says "access is denied" then there is another program using that port, you have to terminate that other program in order to have that port free to be used for some other application....
check for any synchronization software for devices like palm, cell phones, etc...
