i bought a radeon 9550 recently for my computer since the only game it could run was counter strike. when i installed my new video card (radeon 9550 made by ati)it didnt work at first. So i turned my computer off and looked to see what the problem was, of course, me being new at this sort of stuff, i didnt realise my brother didnt push the new video card in all the way. We thought that was our only problem.
1. We cant use the old monitor outlet on the computer, we have to use the one hooked up to the radeon.
2. Everytime we go to play a game, the monitor
turns off and a message comes up and says that its out of frequency and that i need to turn the resolution down.
3. When i go into bios i can only change sound option, there isnt a vga option.

Man i dont know what to do i though hooking up a video card was idiot proof. >.<
