I bought the Dell Inspiron 9300 and want to know if anyone knows how to unlock the DVD player. It is made by TSST Corp and the model is TSL462C.

Posted on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 22:55 GMT Computer DVDs can usually be region set 5 times, then they need hacked firmware to be done again. Click control panel, performance & maintence, system, hardware, device manager, double click CD/DVD-ROM drives, double click whatever drive you want to change and click region. After 5 times it will be stuck on the last region selected. If there is hacked firmware for your drive, it will be at CD freaks.com. |

Posted on Saturday, August 15, 2009 - 11:28 GMT I just downloaded DVD Region Free that allows me to play DVDs regardless of their region code. It also reset the counter on my CD/DVD-ROM drive from 2 to 4. My drive is a TSST corp CDW/DVD TS-L462D .I don't know if it will work with other drives or not. Here's the URL for the Download. |
