My MTX mono amp has 2 terminals for 2 speakers, (under each set of -'s & +'s it says speaker 1, and speaker 2) If I want to wire 1 sub to the amp, do I just wire it to the speaker 1 spot? And a quick question about crossover, I don't quite understand it. The amp has built in crossover, but how exactly does it work? What exactly does the built in crossover do? And does it just "work automatically", or do you haev to change something to change the crossover?

Well if its a mono amp its bridged on the inside so you can just use one set of speaker terminals and you will get the full power lets say running it at 2 ohms or whatever. If your crossover is for subs set it at 80hz. Keeps anything from 80 hz from going through your subs.
