I have a Massive Audio N2 rated for 1 ohm: 800 watts x 1 chan. powering two lanzar max st 600 rms 4 ohm dvc subs wired in parallel. If I'm correct they are 1200rms at 1 ohm. If i have my amp gain less than half, why would it sound distorted when there is a bass hit. (more like a bass drum hit not a normal bass note.)
