Ok so I have an alpine type r 12 4 ohms and I bought a boss 1100watt amp would my amp be able to push that sub or not and if not would I be able to use two amps with that sub both the same thing?
What's the voice coil setup? Dual or single? Boss audio amps are on the lower end of amps but normally amps are easy to pair to subs it's the voice coil config that is the bigger issue. Most amps are 1,2,4 ohm stable so the only issue you will have is wiring the sub correctly. Let me know the voice coil config. I believe those subs are 500rms? Shouldn't be an issue running that boss amp. I would save up for a few amp.
