Center Frequency

JL 1000/1 running, 2 W3V3's I recently moved into ported box and am having troubles tuning them in. I like my metal to have nice sounding kicks but when I play rap I get some bad popping/distortion. They are 2 ohm speakers so I am running them in series, bridged on the amp. Was wondering suggestions on what center frequency and Q should be set to or how I go about retuning my amp in. Thanks in advance.
