I had my subs bumping this morning with my old standard aftermarket sony head unit, I then installed my pioneer (sph-da01) app radio, which has the amp power on blue and white cable coming from harness which is directly connected to remote wire. I rewired my ground and tightened the power cable just to be sure it wasnt loose wiring but still im getting no illumination,I also checked all fuses and none are blown (snapped) any ideas how I can get it working again? Its also a brand new amp. Please help because im stumped
There's a device called voltmeter (multimeters also contain a voltmeter) which can help you to see if the remote-on signal is reaching the amp.
Anyways if you take away the remote-on signal line and connect the remote of the amp to +12V, the amp should turn on regardless, at least you will know the amp is ok.
