I need help, I just bought a second hand radio set for my Renault Megane 1.6 Shake It, and I don't have a code for this radio set, can any one rescue me, the deatils are as follows:

Have tried to upgrade to double DIN unit in 2001 Merc ML270 but need to adjust wiring harness. In the interim have put old Audio 10 radio back in but now need code. I rang the previous owner but he thought that he'd put the card in with the papers, but they're not there.
So need help with code please!

Since this is the only thing that people come around for this days, maybe all forums should be renamed to "codes and everything else".

And I will also add that I am stunned that any of these single post members lack elemental taste or are so cheap beyond hope that they will disassemble the dash and would never ever consider to place a $60 aftermarket HU... (my apologies to all thieves and those people who's stock HUs integrate other functions besides audio ).
