Okay, for some reason my amp isn't working;)

I can get full power through the whole power cable UNLESS it is hooked UP to the amp. Why does the power from the battery stop when it's hooked up to the amp?

Sounds like to me maybe you have blown a fuse on the amp or the amp has lost it's ground. Check the ground cable and the fuses on the amp.

Did those both. All good. What else?

What about the amp turn on wire, typically blue that runs from the head unit to turn on the amp?

Yeah, it works. The protect light and badge light comes on.

My dad and I have narrowed it down to the fuse. It's really iffy. Sometimes you can get 12 volts through it and sometimes you get 2. We've decided it can carry a few amps, but not as much as the amp needs.

Sound right?
