I have had my system complete now for a couple of months, and of course now I want something better. I am happy with my sub for right now, but I have been thinking about upgrading my front stage. I am currently running Boston Acoustics S50 components powered by an Alpine PDX-5.
I bought the S50's for $80 new because I was building my system on a pretty tight budget, and they sound fine for what I paid for them. I am looking for something in the $200 to $300 price range, and they would be powered by my PDX-5. I have been looking at some Focal 130 A1's, Boston Acoustics PRO50SE's, and DLS Ultimate UP5i's. Does anyone have any experience with any of these models or have some more personal suggestions? I am going more for SQ...
