I thought id let the forum guys in on a small science project i'm committing to my senior year. Basically what i'm experimenting with is the effect of different sealed enclosures on a set 6X9 three way speaker. By different sealed enclosures i mean different materials. We (me and my partner) will be using 3/4" MDF, Fiberglass, Cardboard (thick enough to work), and were deciding on either particle board or maybe a sort of polycarbonate/plexiglass (not too much $$). With the set enclosures we will install the 6X9 and measure the seperate resonant frequencies, Qtc and basically the speaker specs. We have a sine wave generator, an oscilloscope (got lucky), and a multimeter for collecting data.

Anyway, Does anyone have any tips on special occurrences to look for or possible variable that we still need to eliminate? Or just give us some thoughts on our project.}
