I have a pioneer 50x4(HU),Rockford fosgate sub(12 inch- stage1) & Pioneer Helmet(3 way) speakers powered by JBL GTO amp(600w - 4 channel), and speakers & sub connected parallel to the AMP, getting static noise when the engine runs(Static varies on the eng RPM),and static increases high when I use headlights and AC, checked Amp ground & power is tight, RCA cables are good, Help would be appreciated.

Check and see if the amp ground is ground to bare metal with no paint on it. Also try making your own ground for the head unit. In some cases nothing will fx the problem unless you install somethng like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5269_PAC-CSS-12.html

Thanks for the suggestion, the AMP ground is tightly fixed to a big bolt on bare metal of no paint. If i want to use the Noise filter, do i need to use only for AMP or AMP & head unit too?.
