Wheats code 7525 Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display
Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter
Thanks very much Hay88, The code, 7525, is only reseting the radio. The radio switches off briefly then goes back to code 1, i have put in a random other code, the radio goes to "code2" so i have put the code in that you have told me, that resets the radio and goes back to "code1" Any other ideas, or am i just being thick?
7525 has been checked again and is the correct code for M039997
Make sure that the Serial Number quoted is the one on the label on the radio casing as any other number using the display or paperwork may be incorrect
Thanks regrooster and Hay88, The code works as said before, but speaking to some mates the problem, must be because i have removed it from my origional ford and put it in my off roader, i have been told that i might need to put it into delivery mode? Is there any way that i can get the sterio to work in my off roader now that i have the code, but it is not in my ford?

Hi, Here's hoping someone can help me help my brother-in-law He has a 4500RDS, s/n M049865 and the supplied code is 9417 He says he's tried entering it and it doesn't work :/ He's now got the dreaded Locked10 on the screen (thanks to his 'helpful' daughters I think...). My 2 questions are... Is the code correct? How would I get past the Locked10 screen? (I have seen that there is a free reset available but not managed to find it yet!!) If anyone is willing to help I'll be grateful (even though I've only just registered today!!)
please confirm that the given serial is off the radio and not out of a book. get him to press 2 and 6 at the same time to get the serial to rollacross the display.once checked i help with locked 10 by email. codehelp@hotmail.co.uk

Hi, you advised me key code 9838 for my Entertainment System, Unit type FD4500 3, Serial Number M069845. The key code is the same as noted in my Owner's Guide, but it does not work. Do you have any other suggestions please?
Yvonne0526 please press button 2 and 6 at the same time this will show you the serial. it will roll across the display look something like fd2006M123456 in case its a replacement.
