alright i got my alpine 15 inch type r hooked up too a kicker zx750.1 and it overpowers my music so bad some songs i can hear the music but others i cant so im just wonderin what to get for christmas. I have a jeep wrangler. crutchfeild tells me i need 2-4" speakers for the dash 2-5 1/4" for the roll bar and 1-5 1/4" for the center console. also i dont know if i would need tweeters but if i do i could find somewhere to mount them. i have a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X993 headunit. and i would need a cheap amp. give some advice please.
your best bet is to replace the 5.25's with something good, mb quarts get loud, so do infinity kappa's. and alpine type r's your best bet is to go listen and decide what you like the most. and definitely put an amp on them, if not its not really worth doing, and it won't be loud enough for you.
or if you really feel like taking on a challenge, put some 6.5 components in your doors, you will need to modify your vehicle to do that tho
