New member Username: RmdaviesPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-10 | Hello, This is tomorrows job, but need wiring confirmation. 2x Alpine R type subwoofer. 1x Blaupunkt GTA 475. The amp is an educated guesstimate over costs that it will be sufficient for the two subs. Would anyone care to comment? Might I be best to run one sub with this amp? On the basis of using the two subs, I am reading Crutchfields wiring diagrams. I am right to go with the configuration '2 ohm DVC subs, bridged 4 channel amp therefore 2x 4ohm loads'? The only other config was '4 ohm DVC subs, bridged 4 channel amp therefore 2x 8 ohm loads' but am I right the subs are 2 ohm and the amp is 4 ohm so the above is correct? If so am I getting 325 watt to each of the subs from the GTA475 and will this be adaquate? Thanks in anticipation. |
