I'm a complete noob when it comes to eq's, so bare with me. My current head unit doesnt have aux inputs, subwoofer pre outs, or even sub control. I'm wondering if i get an equalizer that has those options if it'll work fine. and also, some say it has aux inputs, does that mean that i could plug my ipod in the eq and it'll work through the stereo?
i was going to just get a new one, but i was reading suggestions and one guy said why not just get a seperate equalizer if you're just looking for those controls
Heh, well that's problematic if you can't hook the thing up And honestly, a good equalizer might run you the same price as a new head unit. I personally think separate EQ's are outdated with how far along head units have progressed. But of course it's your prerogative.
Plus if you got a new head unit, you'd have aux input, pre-outs, and lots of other great options.
