Hi guys would like your expert opinion.
I need to buy a mono amp to drive my 2 R/F P3D210 (total 800 W RMS), and would like to go with the Sundown SAZ-1000D

Would this amp be a good choice?

Also, later, I would like to replace the 2 R/F P3D210 with a single 12'' sub that can be used with this amp. Which single 12'' sub would you recommend? A few options are appreciated. I am looking for good/loud and clean bass, with a budget between $300 to $500 for the 12'', lower the cost the better.

Thanks.

Good amp choice! With your subs being dual 2ohm,your only looking at about 600wrms from that amp though. Now,i have heard of people running it at .5ohms but i myself dont have any experiance with that so...
Now for a single 12, maybe an Fi Q or ssa icon?

What about an ED Nine.1? That would give you even more power and I believe they are still on sale. If they are, they run $250 shipped.

As for a single sub the Fi Q or SSA Icon would be great choices but thinking of cost, what about an Audioque HDC3? It might not have the SQ as the Q or Icon but for the price it's hard to beat for a woofer that, will by all means, get loud and sound good. Maybe even a Polk Audio SR. I've heard that they have very good SQ while at the same time getting very loud.

Thanks guys, I made up my mind on the FI Q 12.

The amp I choose is the SAX 1200D

Thanks again for all the input.

You might want to look into PG amp. It will do 1200RMS from 1-4 ohms. In my eyes best bang for the buck.

I am running two SAZ-1500D @ .325 ohm daily (no comp) no problems other than my new subs getting enough excursion to hit my back door once in a while lmfao! .5 shouldn't be a problem unless you are heavy footed with the gain and don't have enough battery.

I was wondering how it would perform on .5 ohms, thanks Polo...
