ok sorry for the rushed msg. i have a audiobahn A1300HCT amp for 2 L5-15's and its sounds great when it works. I've replaced it once already and now the second amp is out. I was listening to the system one day and the woofers cut off, I immediately pulled over and checked the amp and all 3 fuses were blown. I replaced them all and the only thing that comes on are the amp lights. no sound; just a faint popping every few seconds. whats causing this problem? i also have a Fosgate 400 pushing my mids and highs with no problems from it at all. There is also a 3.5 farat cap installed.if you need more info just let me know. Tired of replacing amps

the capacitor is pointless. you need a high output alternator most likely. I'm guessing the amplifier was clipping which is what blew the fuses. This is caused by two things:
-the amplifier gain being turned up too far and causing the amplifier to clip
-an inadequate electrical system, also causing the amplifier to clip.

You may have quite possibly blown your amp because of this...
again.
