I am finishing up the final details for planning my system. i am going to get a 12 inch fi q powered by a audioque 1200d in a sealed box. It is going into an 03 nissan 350z touring. I was wondering if i absolutely have to get a new alternator to run the system. I also would like advise on a good inexpensive small amplifier to power a set of focal v165 slims. they only need 60 watts rms.
The alternator.. wait and see. put the system in, and if voltages drop, then you'll want to do the "big 3" first, and if they continue to drop, then you'll want to look at an alternator upgrade.
