I'd suggest something in the 1200-1500 watt RMS @ 2 ohm range to drive those two subs.

im kinda new to this stuff but i thought that since the sub is 4ohm you would have to run it to be a 4ohm. you have any amps in mind

two 4 ohm subs in parallel will present a 2 ohm load.

a mono amp has one pair of terminals.
one pos, one neg
with two subs, you wire both subs directly to the amp, pos to pos, neg to neg.

series would be daisy chaining the subs, amp pos to sub 1 pos, sub 1 neg to sub 2 pos, and sub 2 neg to amp neg.
this would present an 8 ohm load with two 4 ohm, single coil subs.

Take a look at AudioQue 2200D.

Wire your subs to 1ohm, like below.

The BXi1606D does about 80% of rated power, so your going to see about 1280w. And yes, that will push your subs but not to there potential.

Its alway best to have more power than needed but everybody cant aford to do that.

no high output alternator and/or isolated, dedicated audio batteries

the current to drive that much power with an amplifier has to come from somewhere.
