I'm getting 2 JL Audio 12w6v2's and was wondering what amp(s) to get for them? Also, should i get a Rockford Fosgate 4 gauge wiring kit or a JL 4 gauge wiring kit?

which kit won't really make a difference.
the 1000/1 will provide the same power as the pair of 500/1 amps, and probably be slightly more efficient as you're using one power supply instead of two.

Just do the one single amp. It will make running power easier, plus adjusting the settings will be simpilar and the one amp will be more efficient. If you've never ran a JL slash series amp before, get ready to be impressed Just be sure to set the gain according to the ohm load you're running the subs at. Run those 2 subs at 4 ohm to the 1000/1, as it isn't made to run at a 1 ohm load.
