I have 2 15" Rockford Fosgate RFD2215 600w RMS, 1200w max subwoofers and am not sure what size amp I need to power these. Should I get one larger amp or two smaller?
Thanks

Well If both the subs together are 600 watts RMS try a JBL 600.1 it will do a good job with them.

Thanks, Jayj. The subs are 600w RMS each. So I guess I need one 1200w RMS amp or 2 600w RMS amps? Do you think I will I need a capacitor in this system?

Go with the 1200.1. You will not need a cap. But you WILL need to upgrade your alternator. You add 10amps for every 100watts so you will need 120 amp larger alternator. P.S. Be sure to add this 120amp and your car's current alternator together to get a total. You will prolly end up needign about a 200amp. And also be sure to get a good 4 gauge amp kit.
