Kraco ka-5050 need install help!!

i have an old kraco ka-5050 that my dad gave me, the only problem is he forgot where all the wires went. we know how to do the basic wiring except we dont know where 3 wires go. there is a black, red, and yellow wire that all connect to something labeled BATT GND REM?? any advise???

black is the ground connect it to metal part of chassis
red is the hot wire connect it to a 12 volt power
yellow is the is probably a remote switch connect to a 12 volt switched

thanks for the information but i dont know too much about electrical work, what would the 12 volt power be? your not talking about a battery right?? and what is a 12 volt switched? where would that be?

The power can go to the battery to make it easier on you installation wise. The 12 volt switched would be to a wire that only gets power when the ignition switch is on.

^ thats what i ended up doing i did it all my self, then it had horrible engine wine so i took it got it all fixed up for 40 bucks
