I have been given a code to unlock my car stereo (Renault Scenic 53 plate - original renault stereo) after taking out the wrong fuse to fix my car lighter. I can enter the numbers but when it comes to submitting the number (i.e entering it) I cannot. I have read from previous forums that to submit the code you press 6, but when I do it just beeps at me. I have also tried pressing 5 which was another option but am getting the same response.
Could it be that the code is infact incorrect or am I missing something?
Can anybody help. Don't want to take it back to Evans Halshaw as it will cost me a fortune - which I currently don't have!!
Any help much appreciated.
