Please excuse the newbiness ;)

I have a sony Xplod XS-L1230;

"The XS-L1230 is a 12-inch, 4-ohm woofer with a continuous power rating of 150 watts."

Does that mean I should get an amp with an RMS rating of 150 watts @ 4 ohms? Or is that relating to something else.

Thanks!

Yea since its a svc 4 ohm sub proably get a amp that is stable to 150 watts at 4 ohms. An amp you may want to look at is a hifonics bx500. Its 125 rms at 4 ohms which would be a nice match or an xtant A3001T which will give you 150 rms at 4 ohms.
