I ordered this MTX Bass Package
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12216_MTX+Audio+Terminator+TNP212D.html

When me and my dad hooked it up we used a 4-guage wiring kit like it recommended, and it is barely making any noise. I'm wondering if it's my amplifier being so under powered compared to the subs max handling power of 1200 watts. I was also considering it may be my head unit that is effecting the quality of the music. Because my head unit is a very old discontinued Alpine and I've been using a tape adapter to play my iPod through. Please help me out with this, Thanks

How are your subs wired? Wire them like this, +positive of each speaker together, -negative of each speaker together, then wire the amp pos and neg to the pos and neg of the speakers. This will give you speakers wired in parallel. Dropping the ohm resistance to 2, and according to your link your amp will now push 200w. Which is in the range your speakers should work fine. Also try adjusting your gains and bass boost.
