I have a audiobaun 12 dual 4ohm voice coils im running a sony xplod 1000 watt amp 2 ohm stable 500 x 2 1000 watts bridged at 4 ohms what would be the best way to wire my sub I have it running series I believe that makes it 2 ohms and im running it bridged it seems to do ok it seems to pull the battery down fast would i be better of running one coil to each channel and running the amp mono
You would want to run the sub as you had it, a 2 ohm load to the amp. That amp shouldn't be pulling your battery dead. How is your gain set on the amp? Be sure it isn't turned up too high.
