Press and hold presets 1, 3 and 6. 5. Ign. OFF then back ON within 1 second. 6. Release presets 1, 3 and 6. 7. Radio OFF. 8. Ign. OFF. Repeat the above the same number of times that is showing on the display when you started. i.e: 10 or 13. ========================================== Once it has reached LOCK 13 or LOCKED 3, this is now beyond the scope of the Ford Main Dealers and most of the professional Decoders, and they will tell you that the unit is now scrap as they do not have the programming capability to recover it.

Hello everyone, I've just found this site and hope someone can help. I have two Blau. radio cassette players, one from a scrap car, the other from small-ads local. Coupling them up on the bench to check O.K. to install, one comes up with "CHECK," the other with "CANCHECK". According to the instruction book with the "CANCHECK" which came out of a Fiat Dublo, this should clear from the screen in seconds after firing up. I've left it for as much as 10 mins. and it's still there. The other is out of a Fiat Punto so I suspect the solution may be the same for both units. Details as follows:- CANCHECK unit, Blaupunkt BP037135316945 also:- 7 640 371 316 Code:- 5121 CHECK unit, Blaupunkt BP137424830158 plus 7 641 374 316 Code unknown. Help with this too??? Reading through the site I note the great success with decodes, hope someone can help with this BIG ask. Many thanks, Bill.
hi Bill BP137424830158 = 6252 If you are trying to fit this radio to a different vehicle, then you may find yourself with the Error message of "CANCHECK". As well as having a conventional Radio Security Code number, this stereo is also electronically paired, or "Married" to the engine management system of the vehicle it came out of using very sophisticated CAN-BUS system technology.
When it is first powered up, it will communicate with the vehicle, and a message of "WAIT" will appear on the display whilst this process is in operation. If communication has been successfull, it will prompt for the Code number to be entered in the normal way.
However, if removed and refitted into a different vehicle other than the original one, it will not recognise the encrypted CANBUS identification of the new car, and will instead display an error message of "CANCHECK".
This Radio cannot therefore be transferred from one car to another, unless it has first been reset back into its original "Delivery Mode" with the CAN-BUS data memory reprogrammed for use with the new vehicle.

I got it back tonight but now my radio is flashing up for a code. The problem is I do not have the instruction book so I dont know what the serial number of my radio is all it says on it is

I have tried putting in 7700 which someone said to try and it came up 30 mins and started counting down, then it went back to asking for keycode. Can anyone tell me where I find the serial number of my radio so then someone can help me find my keycode.
Purplekicker69 try this first. simply turn on the radio, hold down button 6 and press 2. The serial will be shown allowing you to easily get your ford radio code it may give you the serial like m123456. if not your have to remove it to get the serisl.

Clogs0 Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display
Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed. Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

LOCK13 means that the radio has had far too many wrong codes entered and is now fully locked. It can ONLY be unlocked by a Ford Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
There is NO FREE RESET available so it might just be cheaper to buy another radio with a code
Fatlee only if you have a second barcode like C700000xxxx
The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM

As has already been stated a couple times , if you do NOT have a barcode serial number beginning with C 7000000 + + + + then the code can NOT be calculated for free by anyone on the Internet.
You are going to have to pay at the Main Dealer or Decoding Service

Hello, Don't suppose anyone can help??? I fitted my own stereo into my fiesta about two years ago (replacing the 4500 RDS EON) but had it stolen last week and now need to re-fit the 4500 RDS EON. However I put it back in but it's now asking for a keycode- having checked the audio guide and contacted the original dealer I've been unable to get hold of it, does anyone know the code??
