Systems not working right

I have a alpine 9807 head unit, 4 six and a half inch infinity speakers and two pioneer premier 12 inch DVC subs 400W to 800W max. All of this is powered by 2 polk momo 300/2 amps. System used to sound great and now for some reason it just doesnt hit as hard. Used to sound like four 12's now just sounds like one. Is it just a crappy system or is something wrong, I mean it used to sound good. I have the bass amp bridged to mono to power the two 8ohm subs is that ok? Also I have the subs wired so that the amp only sees one sub.

if the amp is bridged, the subs should be in parallel on the amp for a 4 ohm load.

check your wiring, make sure grounds are good, gains are properly set, and equalization is set right, and that your charging system is up to the job.
