i just purchased a 3000 watt class d mono amp and i was wondering if any body can give me the most basic instructions on how to tune this thing in becouse i dont have a clue on were to start. i just have heard that you wanna turn down the gain when you hear clipping or distortion. i might sound ignorant but what exactly does subwoofer distortion sound like?
its hard to explain how it sounds but trust me you will know but it sounds like a big boat horn its just nothing but bass it starts out low and then it gets really high (loud) but do turn your gain down and then check your bass settings you could have it way too loud....if this dosnt work then we can go for plan b....
