how would i go about installing a on/off switch to my amp. i have a switch that was used for the old security system. it has two wires coming out the back. would it be possible to go from the the remote wire to those wires to the amp to make it to where i can turn it off and on. if so how would i go about wiring this? any help would be appreciated

It would be easier to just go off of the wiring from your head unit. Otherwise I don't know about using what your talking about.

Ok guys its about as simple as it gets. connect the remote wire from your head unit to one of the terminals of the switch, and the wire that goes to the amp to the other terminal.
