I want to hook my car audio cd player into my garage and plug it into the wall. I want to know a cheap way to do this>>??

You can buy 110/120v ac to 12v dc power converters from $50 to $400 depending on what other features you want. They plug right into the outlet in your wall and have screw terminal outputs that are converted to 12v. The prices depend on amperage as well. Do a Dogpile or Google search on "convert 120v ac to 12v dc" and see what you come up with.

Radio Shack used to carry one for around $100 but I don't see it on their website anymore...?

Why not buy a cheap Home Audio CD player instead? Would be a lot less of a headache...
