hey everyone, i saw something at my local sound store the other day called a "bass shaker" by aura or something. does anyone know anything about these? are they worth 30 a piece? do i need a pair? any info would be helpful.

Shakers aren't speakers, they just vibrate giving the illusion of big bass (you feel the bass from the Shakers, your existing speakers give the sound.)
$30 each? I remember when they were $150 each and a real hot ticket (that was back in about 92 or 93.) They do what they are designed to do but they aren't near as good as a couple of 10" subs in a good enclosure.
Your call, have them demo the Shakers for you...it's a trip.
