I have 3 alpine 4ohm dvc 10s. The amp i currently have for them is a usa-300 u.s. amp 810@2ohms bridged. Im not to sure if this amp will do the job,so suggestions on some others that might work would help. i dont wanna spend over $400

Get a Kicker ZX1500.1. Wire the voice coils of your subs in series and wire the subs in parallel for a 2.66667 ohm load. The Kicker puts out 1500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. It is over 400$ tho...I couldnt find anything good under 400. The ZX1500.1 is $570. Or you can get a Rockford Fosgate T20001BD Power amp. It also puts out 1500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms..but if you are planning on upgrading in the future..the fosgate amp puts out 2000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm. The Fosgate costs $550 + shipping from www.sonicelectronix.com

Is soundstream a decent brand? pcx1500d 1100@2ohms for $389, or am i just better off spending the extra cash on the kicker or fosgate?

with only 1100@ 2ohms you are looking at under 1000 at 2.6 ohms(what they would be run at). You are going to want about 1500-2000 at 2 ohms so that each one gets around 500wrms. I would go with the kicker, that should do around 1500 at 2.6 ohms so they will be properly powered.
Another option is to just run 2 and find an amp that does 1000@1 ohm which would be a lot cheaper.

Soundstream is good , but the Kicker ZX1500.1 is rated at 1500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. Kicker is underrated in my opinion...so I would go with that amp or get the Rockford T20001BD. If you get that...you wont have to worry about upgrading the amp in the future.
