probably heard this a million times but help would be appreciated!

basically running a sub, pair of 6x9's and have 4 channel JBL GTO 4000 4 channel amp....connected all up 6x9's worked sub didn't then realised i needed a RCA spliter as amp has rear and front input. before i realised about the splitter cables i needed i checked the connections on the back of the sub and touched it with my watch...system stopped..now just flashes??? all fuses fine have checked them....also need to know the best way to bridge the rear channels for the sub...hows this done properly??

JBL 4000 isn't powerful enough to power 6x9's and a sub. Sure it says it can, but 150w is nothing for a sub. Unless the box is well designed, you won't be impressed with the outcome.
Get a separate amp for the sub and use the JBL amp for front + rear speakers.
