I have 2 kicker comp VR 10's. They are rated at 400 watts rms. They are dual voice coil and 2 ohm woofers. I am looking for an amp that will run these well. To my knowledge all I really need to look at is an amp that is a monoblock amp with roughly 800 watt RMS at 2 ohm. If I'm wrong please inform me and if you have any ideas with what amp would work well please let me know. Thanks.

i have 2 12" cvrs myself. im runnin them off a hifonics brutus 1210d. it pushes 1200 rms at 1 ohm and 900 rms at 2 ohm load. im pushing a 2 ohm load it beats hard.you can get them for around 200 on ebay brand new. or you can get the audioque 1200 for 249 at audioque.com

Honestly I don't know much about amps. With the hifonics brutis 1210d i would wire one sub to one of the speaker outputs and the other to the other one correct? also here is the link to see the amp. Thanks.

So sub 1 would go to - and + on the left side and sub 2 would go to the - and + on the right side.

yea it somethin like that you have to pay attention to the white dots on the voice coil terminals.. i wired my subs off this diagram http://www.kicker.com/dvc_wiring
there two ways to wire your subs to 2 ohm load. either one will work. i wired my voice coils series and my subs wired parallel

the bxi1210d would certainly work. The Kicker ZX1000.1 comes to mind as well. The zx750 would even do the trick.

your wiring would look something like this.
