Error message on car radio : AMP-CLIP

I am receiving 10 minute app. after switching on my Chrysler car radio the following message: AMP-CLIP , and my speakers i.e. volume control are stum!
What can I do?

is there a factory amp in the car? you're clipping the amp or something? idk.

There is an original Amplifier connected to the Radio .
I do not know what a "clip" or clipping means!
I am doing nothing to the system except switching on /off.

you cranking it up to much? Clipping is just a bad signal, i dont really know how to explain it to you. lol. Idk if this is right, but if it were me, I'd remove the negative post from the battery, wait a little bit and reconnect the negative post. whenever I do that in my car, it usually resets everything in my car on the stereo.
