What electrical needed for the ZX2500.1!?!?!?!?

i recently got the kicker zx2500.1 and im going to be running just 2 12" L7s, or L5's for now.Ill be running 4 later and also the kicker ks 6.5 inch component sets...but i was wondering what would be recommended as far as a extra alternator, battery, etc. Vehicle is a 01 chevy tracker.

HO alternator and good battery and big 3 at minimum.

DB Electrical, MCR, or mechman for the alt.

Odyssey, kinetik, etc battery.

Jason, honestly there's no way to know until you have the system and find out if the existing charging system is enough.
A lot depends more on your listening habits than on the charging system or the amplifier's maximum current draw.
If you don't drive around at full volume, then it will have less of an effect than if you do, etc..

A stock is electrical is not going to support a zx2500 no matter what though. Unless you turn the gain WAY down and essentially make it a 500w amp

ehhh the gain isn't really a volume knob.
it's an input sensitivity adjustment that matches the source signal voltage (amplitude) to the input stage of the amplifier.
The amp will still produce the same power at full output. It'll just be amplifying a much weaker and quieter source signal with higher distortion and lower SNR.
