Bets amp for a 12" kicker L7 sub ...???/

i have a honda accord 1996 and i have a kicker L7 sub. i would like to know what amps or amp would be best for my setup. also would 4 gauge cords do the trick? ......any ideas would be great thanks

Bad choice of sub..... but a kicker zx750.1 would be a good amp for it

Make sure the sub has dual 4 ohm voice coils. You can give that sub as much power as that amp will produce clean or "rms".

4ga will work for that amp as well.

i believe that my sub is only the 2 ohm version of the L7....???is this a problem?????

Yes, then the zx750.1 will not work fow you. You need an amp that will do ~750w @ 1 or 4 ohms. A Rockford T5001bd amp would work good. Rockford under rates them at 500w rms but really do more around 800-900w+ rms.

or get two of those subs and get the kicker 1500 watt amp...

yeh...... thats a sickk amp...but i cant afford it or another L7 or i would have already done it
