So i've got a JBL bp300.1 power output at 4 ohms is 150w, and 2 ohms 300. i'm trying to figure out what woofers to get but i've got some questions. if i get two 2ohm speakers does the ohm load go to 4 or is it still just a 2 ohm load? i'm kinda confused as to how amplifiers and subwoofers relate as far as watts and and resistance goes. if anyone has any links that explain nominal amp/woofer pairing that would be awesome.. i've been looking at www.bcae1.com a little bit but it's kinda hard to understand. any info/suggestions help

That will show you what impedances a combination of speakers can be wired to. The final impedance is what has to match the amp.

two svc 4 ohm subs will net you a 2 ohm load. Two dvc 2 ohm subs will also net you a 2 ohm load.

Keep in mind though - if you go with 2 subs the best you can get is 150w rms each. You might consider ONE good dvc 4 which can be wired for 2 ohm, and driven with all 300w.
