be aware that it's not really an 1800w amp. Its RMS power rating is 650w at 1 ohm. Sounds about right considering the two 30A fuses.

casey mclain,

that amp company is known for being overrated like hifonics. its a budget amp and if you saved a bit more you can get a QUALITY that does rated power. Also learn how to spell. (wut and problum) idk if your trying to speak slang, but its weird.

FWIW -
I've run two American Hifi amps (parent company of Volfenhag and several other "low end" companies).
One was an American Pro several years ago. Used it to run a 10" sub temporarily. No problems.

A couple years ago I bought a used DHD for $40 on ebay to run the tower speakers on my boat. It's a 50x4, (150x2 bridged) and does a great job. Easily the best $40 I've spent on a car audio purchase.

I'm not trying to say these are good quality amps, but I AM trying to say that if you're on a tight budget and you find one cheap ($150 ISN'T cheap) it might be worth a try.

I have an issue with one scentence "crap" replies from people who have probably never used the item in question, or even anything similar to it so I thought some actual experience might be helpful.

FWIW you can get a 500w Alpine on ebay for $165, or a 500w Kicker for $175. They're both 2 ohm amps though.
Cadence txa750d's show up a lot. Decent quality 1 ohm amps. There's one right now, but it's used.

the first amp/sub setup i ever bought was a volfenhag(i was very young). i had this amp for 3 years, though i had no problems with it i have to agree with everyone here that is against it, wayyyyyy over-rated. only reason mine sounded 1/4 decent was because of the prefab bandpass i had.
