Kenwood 1800 watt amp keeps blowing fuses

i have a Kenwood KAC-9104D and it keeps blowing fuses i have it hooked up to a 12 inch audiobahn and i keep poping fuses wats wrong?

Kenwood amps are crap and known for power supply failures, I'd bet on that.

check at what ohm your running it at, you probably overheated it

Does it blow fuses when you turn up the volume or just when the amp initially turns on?

the fuse blow when i turn it up and it starts to bump harder

Sounds like your running too low of an ohm load. What sub do you have, and how do you have it wired?

i have an audiobahn 1500 rms and 2000 watt peak sub and i dont know wat ohm i have it wired at lol

ohm load should make it go into protect.....

Another things could be too small a power wire, what gauge wire did you use

Pull the sub from the box and post the voice coil configuration.
