I've never done an install like this. I intend to take the line level outputs from the factory head unit and run them to the inputs on an MTX amp. Can I just run an RCA cable from the MTX amp to my older Rockford Fosgate Series 1 amp? If not, how do I get sound to both amps without buying a line output converter??? Thanks for the help.

you could buy RCA splitters and run them from the new amp to the old one this should work fine.
