Use lower gauge (bigger) power wire
*Ensure subs are in right box for your setup
If you can wire the subs at a lower impedance without clipping the amp you will gain serious increase in power
make sure amp is big enough
make sure deck has at least 4 volt pre-out, if using line converter off rear speakers you may get less, an amp can only work with whats its given.
Position the subs in the trunk so that they give you the most boom
EMPTY YOUR TRUNK, empty trunk with lots airspace give louder sound that trunk full of crap.
Possibly port the trunk into the car so you dont have to punch through the back seat. |
