i have 2 cerwin vega strokers.. dual 2 ohm model and puttin a new amp.. i kno i can wire both of them to one amp at a 2 ohm load or wire each to there own amp at 1 ohm.. which would you suggest for this setup.. i was considerin gettin a kicker 2500.1 bc it puts 2500 watts at 2 ohm or investin into some rockford 1000 watt monos bc they are 1 ohm stabel and give around 1000 watts.. wat do u suggest or wat are some other options?
My electrical system will be able to keep up as long as i dont go to drastic because i have 0 ga wire.. spare battery.. and amp relay
Thanks

your electrical most likely wont be able to support that amount of power. you need a HO alternator

the zx2500 is a good choice but it would be a good idea to upgrade your electrical for sure

that amp is probably going to draw well over 200 amps full tilt

Well sorry to tell you but you won't get a good amp of that size and the electrical system to support it all for that price.......

The ZX2500.1 is a good choice though.

only thing my electrical system really needs is maybe a more powerful alternator.. i have a batt and 0 ga wire and might put a cap on it im not sure.. i am goin to wait on the alternator bc i kno it will help improve it but i dont think it will make night/day difference will it??

NO cap!!

and you neeed the HO alt if your going to get an amp that size. you can get a 100000watt amp but your alternator will only allow you to push 1000-1200rms. so to run the kicker 2500.1 you NEED the HO alt

220 amps is plenty...... just call/email them to make sure it will work on a 2008. DB is one of the best companies, my HO alt is from there.

And remember to do the big 3

@Steven Lopez Pedraza

I've read a few posts from you, not to be mean but, put some thought into them before posting.

He does not need 10k rms...

A Kicker Warhorse is $10,000 and puts out 10,000 watts. You can 2 5krms amp and strap them together to get 10krms+ for under $5,000. Plus the electrical upgrades required to run that amount of power would end up costing a HUGE amount of dough!

Over the Rockfords and Kicker 2500.1 I would go the Kicker route...

my subs only claim 2000 watt rms each.. putting a warhorse would kill them and there is no way i can afford all the upgrades for one of those.. going to go with a 1000.1 for now and see how satisfied I am and than maybe a 2500.1 when my 260a alternator comes in

actually i have a kicker warhorse and it only pulls 833 amps. if you wired two or more amps together to get that same wattage youre atleast doubling that. 4 zx2500's will pull over 1400 amps. like i said before, the warhorse pulls 833. and it can put out 20000 watts. kicker underrates their amps. but josh, you should get the zx2500.
