the fuse on my power line keep blowing. does anyone have any idea what this could be? is this just a simple short in the wire? thanks for any help

Blowing under heavy use or simply popping even under light load? You'll need to post power running trough the wire, size of wire, size of fuse your blowing, how far from the bat is the fuse, grounding, ect, ect.......



Too little info to start guessing but I would check the size of the fuse first, then grounding, then correct wire size, ect, ect....

i'm running 8 gauge, to a amp thats probably pushing 300max... nothing to big. the fuse is a 30A fuse and i would say the fuse is 8 inches top from the battery. anything else? thanks again for the help

Are you sure the amplifier doesn't pull more than 30 amps of current? It easily could be if it were very inefficient. Which would cause the problem you're having at the moment.
