where can i get a cheap voltmeter to stick near me while i drive so i can watch my voltage.doesn't need to be beautiful or mounted nicely, just work

Make sure to use a digital multi meter to check for variance between the meter and actual power. Remember, there's resistance through the wire.

He means to use a DMM to check the accuracy of the meter. Even less than expensive DMM's are more accurate that volt meters.



I know my volt meter on my solar battery bank can have a reading variance of +/- .5v from that of my DMM reading of the same bank.
