I run the MMats 3500.05
It is intended to run at 1/2 ohm daily.

The 3500.1 is intended to run at 1 ohm daily.

Both are rated at 3000 watts rms.

"Both are rated at 3000 watts rms."

MMATS actually under-rates those amps at 2700watts RMS but we know they'll put out more than that :-)

Sundown SAZ-1500d

That amp does 1500w at 1 ohm, I forget how much they're supposed to do at .5 ohm.

I believe Lanzar also makes an amp that is .5 ohm stable.

The Sundown is no longer covered when run at .5ohms from what I've heard...I think it had to do with people strapping them wrong but I heard they do not warranty when run at .5 ohm.

So? That amp is perfectly stable at .5 ohms as long as you have a decent electrical system. They dropped the .5 ohm warranty b/c dumbazzes were running them at .5 on stock alternators and blowing them.

What do you mean so? The OP may be concerned with a warranty SO it is a factor, thanks!

Mark, what kind of sub(s) are you going to be running?

You're better off going with two amplifiers for those subs. You're going to need a lot of power for those. What's the VC config of those Solo Xs?

I'm assuming dual 2 ohms. So you can get an amp that's 2 ohm stable and puts out good power. Just wire in series for each sub and then in parallel to drop it back down to a 2 ohm load.
