How do I bridge a 4 channel amp to a dvc?

okay the subject says it all. If anyone knows a link to a diagram that would help alot. on the amp it has 2 channels for the front and 2 for the back. do i bridge the 2 front together and hook + to + on one voice coil and - to - on the same one or - to - on the other coil? what im trying to say is do i bridge the 2 channels to the same coil and then bridge the other two channels to the other or cross them? I hope that makes sense to someone because it is hard to explain in writing. Any help is appreciated. thanx.

the way you bridge 2 channels is by using only the + of the left channel and the - of the right channel. bridge the 2 front ones so that + and - go to one set of voice coils. bridge the 2 back ones and do the same to the other set of voice coils. don't forget to set all the gains equally.

I am using a 4 channel amp for (2) dual 4 ohm subs. Should the subs be wired in parallel

Here, I actually did this exact same set up a few days ago. Just make sure that you know the RMS of the amp when it's bridged down to 2 channels, and the RMS of the subs as a whole. My friend had a 4 channel kicker and when bridged to 2 channels it is 300 x 2. The RMS of his subs are 300, and they sound sweet! Here is a sketch that I did to make this easier for you..

How do I bridge a 4 channel amp to 2 regular 12"RockfordPunches ?? I have a cheaper 1200 pyrmid amp but my old cheap 200watt amp seemed to kick more on these subs than the Pyrmid.

Thanks, Adam
